My dog thinks he's human

My dog thinks he's human.

Every time he wants to step out of the house to go to the garage, he'd knock once.
And every time he wants to come back into the house, he'd knock once.

Yes, he'd push his tiny paw against the screen of the door -once- and you'd hear that faint knocking sound.

And he will only do it once. 

Once to get out and once to get in.

But it's enough for anyone in the household to drop everything they are currently doing to let the dog in/out.

See, that's how important he believes he is. He'd only knock once.
Most dogs would scatter and cause a ruckus just to get the attention of their owners.

Nope, not Banjo.

He knows he's that important.

 Meet Banjo. That's him giving me the angry look whenever he's begging for food at the dining table.

And that is his...err.. happy face..?
